MARY ANETIA TINSON SHROPSHIRE – AGE 78, - Of Rocky Face, Georgia was welcomed home by God on Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was born on May 11, 1941 to the late Tom Tinson and Emma Lizzie Bryant Tinson and was preceded in death by her brother, Jerold T. Tinson. Mary was a member of Mount Rachel Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Hugh Shropshire of Rocky Face, Georgia; daughter, Cecilia V. Shropshire of Nashville, Tennessee; son, Ricky E. (Sharon) Shropshire of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; two grandchildren; sisters, Shirley A. (Edward) Little, Bettye Langston of Ringgold, Georgia, Marcella F. (Fred) McDade of Rocky Face, Georgia, Effie (Eurskine) Lyons of Stockbridge, Georgia; brother, Gerald Lee Tinson; sisters-in-law, Mary A. Tinson of Rocky Face, Georgia, Glenda D. (Willie) Thomas, Paulette N. (Johnny) Bonds of Dalton, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel with Bro. Marty Greene as Eulogist, and Rev. Eugene Miller, Presider. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Tuesday after 12:00 noon. Interment at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 P. M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Rachel Baptist Church, 332 Haig Mill Lake Road, Dalton, GA. 30720.
